In the quest for weightloss or healthy eating being accountable is key. Whether you you are just starting out or are half way there you need some things to track your progress in order to keep you motivated in the short term. When I started out I took a measurement of my weight……..I have a bathroom scale. Get a reliable one. You can even go an extra mile by measuring your waist,hips,bust/ chest with a tape. When you start dropping the pounds you will be able to know immediately and this will directly impact on your level of enthusiasm and commitment. Get a food diary and write down every single thing you eat ,the quantity and what you drink in a day. This will help you see at a glance what you are ingesting and how healthy or otherwise your diet really is. You can download free diaries from the internet onto your tablet or smart phone if you do not have a paper one. Personally, I keep a paper food diary.
