According to a dictionary, food is any nutritious substance that people or animals eat /drink or that plants absorb in order to maintain life and growth. The key word for me here is NUTRITIOUS
You should not expect yor body to be in tip top shape while you keep stuffing yourself with chemical and additives laden junk food.
From the above definition we can safely say that home made vegetable or fruit juice is FOOD as it is a nutritious substance taken to maintain life and growth. Why then is ready made, DEAD and over processed food so popular and widely accepted? Is it ignorance of the terrible effects of these foods on our long term health? or is it the effect of the addictive substances in these foods which ultimately leads to cravings for more? or maybe it is just the convenience it represents……which one of these do you think it is?
In order to take control of your health and ultimately quality of life, you need to READ FOOD LABELS …..as someone once said…
” A man who does not read has no advantage over a man who cannot read”…… My take on this is that whenever I read a food label and the Ingredients look like something from a chemistry experiment I generally ditch it or at worst eat very sparingly.
Some people treat their cars better than their bodies….Will you intentionally put this very dirty engine oil
Don’t you service your car regularly?
You take the pains to change the oil et all so why then are you pouring junk in your body which has no spare?….the time to determine to eat REAL FOOD is NOW
Remember all you need to do to loose weight is to choose the right food in the right portions and move more EVERYDAY….
